I've won as MCA Deputy President

Tonight is a memorable night for me as I've won as MCA Deputy President. I sincerely thank all my supporters for their enormous support.

With all party members' support and cooperation, we now need to re-unite and reform the party. All elected leaders must work hand in hand to fulfill their promises to party members as well as the rakyat.

Once again, I thank all central delegates for their votes.

The Ban by MCMC towards NTV7’s Live Telecast of the MCA Deputy Presidential Debate

The decision by the Malaysian Communication and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) to ban the live telecast of the MCA deputy presidential debate over NTV7 last night has come as a great shock.

One would have thought that following the recent debates on television involving no less a figure as Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim that there would be no issue of allowing last night's debate to be televised.

Even Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng's debate with Tan Sri Koh Tsu Koon was televised live.

Malaysians have shown they are receptive to this new political culture.

A new level of maturity had arrived in which political rivals can debate issues in a sober and competitive fashion.

There is no reason why the debate involving MCA candidates should not be allowed.

There seems to be black hands at work behind the scene.

By banning the live telecast, MCMC has robbed Malaysians and not just Chinese Malaysians, of an opportunity to get to know what candidates for a senior post of a major political party stand for.

It would have offered Malaysians a glimpse at how these candidates perform, and listen to what they have to offer.

Crucially, delegates to this weekend's MCA elections would have had a chance to listen to the candidates before deciding on who they should vote for.

I call on the MCMC to allow the debate to be shown without any further adue.

The MCMC must also give an answer as to why they have banned the live telecast of the debate.

FATHER OR DEMOCRATIC REFORMS

Abdullah and Koh wave to delegates at the Gerakan conference today.

Remember folks?
I have mentioned earlier that Pak Lah should be named 'Father of Democracy" ..... I think Tan Sri Dr. Koh is reading my blog and seem to agreed to my observation and analysis of the political situation in Malaysia...... just as I alway say, kopi kau kau chi piu.....

By Shannon Teoh

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 11 — Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi has been dubbed the “Father of Democratic Reforms” by Gerakan president Tan Sri Dr Koh Tsu Koon.

In his opening speech this morning at Gerakan’s national delegates conference, Koh said that “as the Prime Minister, Abdullah has initiated reforms for good governance and promoted commitment to integrity. As an advocate for democracy, he has opened up more space for expression to Malaysians.”

At a press conference later, he added that under Abdullah’s administration, the country had seen the “rise of new media and even the printed press have run a lot of reports that have exposed the shortcomings of the government” and said that this was his legacy as prime minister.

Koh also said that while Abdullah was committed to fighting corruption and uplifting the standards of living of the poor, more reforms were required.

He called on Abdullah's designated successor Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak to "continue with the reforms in government started by Abdullah".

The former Penang chief minister said that after the huge mandate given to Gerakan and Barisan Nasional in 2004, "the implementation of such reforms has been delayed and some reforms were even derailed."

He claimed that the people are unhappy with the lack of efficiency and integrity in the government's delivery system, the disparity between the rich and poor, and statements and gestures by some politicians that were racist and extreme leading to "a wave of anti-BN sentiments, resulting in the worst results ever suffered by the BN in the March 8 general election.

As such, he called for detainees under the Internal Security Act not involved in terrorism to be released and for the Act to be replaced with legislation specifically on terrorism.

"Recent arrests under the Internal Security Act have convinced the public that the ISA is open to abuse. It has become a liability to the government," he insisted.

During the press conference, Koh said that the issue of the party's position in BN was not yet closed.

"We are still thinking about how to reform the party. As far as the central leadership is concerned, we will work with Abdullah and Najib.

"Abdullah has promised to reform so we are with him. As you can see, the response to him during his speech was more positive," he said when quizzed on his recent statement that a majority of the grassroots wanted to leave BN.

Koh was also asked if its current impetus to recruit more non-Chinese members meant that the party was not interested in doing so in the past.

He clarified that previously "we did not have a programme to reach out and publicise. We welcomed them if they wanted to join but we did not go out and actively recruit them."

Koh also said that as part of the process of "opening the doors wider", the party is considering the establishment of "cyber branches" which would be "borderless."

He said that it would require the constitution to be amended as currently it required members to register with branches that were in specific geographic locations.

"So Malaysians in the US or Europe can be members of a branch which will have its own organisation. The chairman can be from Penang and the secretary from Bangkok and they will communicate via the Internet."

AHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA MONGOLIA!

We are now under the mercy of the police and we have to be careful... My concern for all of you.... brave bloggers are genuine

My apology again......

This are the kind of news to be highlighted in newspapers. All news media are strongly controlled by policicians. This asshole is fit to be on the electric chair. Just imagine the party choosing him for PM post, just a bunch of idots and ball carriers.

Zorro is rather unhappy with my comment, I have in fact showing my concern to all fellows bloggers by spreading news ..... which the police could ask him or others to their office for a cuppa of coffee.... Anyway to my hero Zorro, please don't feel offended... sorry lah..... It least I am brave to convey my apologies ... better than Ahmad Ismail....

Zorro,

My humble opinion is that you are over anxious in your fight against the govt.

This is suppose to be 'Court Material' .... to be use against them and no chance for them to cover up their folly....

With your interesting articles.. whether true or not..... this give them a chance to cover up.

With our RPK nicely nested under ISA... don't be surprised that you are next ISA-in-waiting....

Think and think what can you achieve for revealing this article?
Does it serve any purposes? We as readers are normally hungry for this type of news... then we speculate and talk till midnight . Can this help to bring the downfall of Najis?
Can this help RPK in his coming trial....? If this can help then you are inadvertently spoiling the whole case.

It better sometime to ponder with your friends over a cuppa of coffee before you write any comment.. as I normally like .. kopi kau kau chi pui

Will 4 MCA Ministers resign en masse if Anwar arrested under ISA?

  1. kopitiam99 Says: Your comment is awaiting moderation.

    Yb,

Sometime you are also a bit off balance in your haste to slap MCA … how do you expect that the lame and limp 4 ministers would get into your trap by just a word challenge in your website??? They are shrewd as far as their futures and career are concerned … they do not have the fighting spirit of Zaid…….

To Kopi Kau Kau,
If you think Dr. Chua's idea is "useless" and wasting his time, why bother to leave your comment here? Aren't you wasting your time here too? You're just trying to "demoralize" Datuk Chua who's been trying to help the Chinese and his beloved MCA, Who're you then? You should receive a lesson from his comrade Dtk. Ong TK who is very particular about morality and good behaviour, he'll love to teach you a lesson or two.

MCA REFORM , REAL POLITIC REAL INFLUENCE

Ha ha ha ... after so long ... I do have a comment by 'Zoro' ...... there is some not to right about his comment which come immediately after my comment is being published .... Normally it take awhile before Doc print our comment... but for my comment ... it was a immediate response... something is not right .... Are they in cohort ? anyway it ok... commenting is mind stimulating ... just like drinking a kopi kau kau ..... Dear Zoro,

Thanks and no thanks for your comment....

If what kopi kau kau comment could demoralize Dr, Chua.... Ha ha ha.. his enemy would be very happy to use my service.... I have a feeling that Zoro and Dr. Chua is in cohort.. anyway it ok...

Do you think Dr. Chua could be easily demoralize by me !!! A leader of his calibre could withstand all criticism and still held his head high as though nothing had happen ... Heard of 'thick skin' ?... or you want his blog to hear all the praises and good atmosphere around as though nothing has happen ?? (carrying his balls?.. not me lah)

The best Dr. can do is to challenge himself that he shall fulfill all his so call MCA's reform .... like what Anwar say
Petrol price down ... if not I resign...

We comment, criticize or praise is what we persist to be our feeling of what is being written by Dr.
If you follow my comment, I do praise him sometime ... but not all time... sorry lah... I am not a party member so I do not need to be in his good book

Anyway it goooood that at least there is a response to my comment... I will show to my kopitiam buddies .. Zoro boleh

Lim Kit Siang Blog -Brand New Era for UiTM -

Yb,

Tan Sri Khalid is just like man in the street character... still immature and incompetent as a politican... What a wishful thinking... too childish and is now one up for BN .... They would be using this topic to kill Anwar for the Permatang Pauh by election....

If at all you want to do anything good for the Chinese or Indian or other ethic people.... Wait till you are the GOVERNMENT and meanwhile he better keep his mouth shut up and do his work for Selangor and don't try to be smart...... ( Don't be branded as the Botak Hamid of PKR)

Dr. Chua's Blog on Bar Council Forum

Dr. Chua now trying to be a Hero .....

Dr,

Pak Lah did vouch for a democratic country where we could exercise our democratic right within the confine of the law in our Country.

Well the Bar Council like a fool falls into his trap and organize a so called forum and testing the nerves of the Muslim.....

Our Royal Police is the real culprit to the whole forum.... Why do they allow the protesters to enter the premises??? I am really surprised that they cannot control the crowd??? Where is the special elite force that 'capture' Anwar?? (missing in action..???)

I could imagine how the crowd would behave if they sight the special elite force.... they all would run away because they do not like to be treated like Anwar!!!

Another problem is the lawyers themselves..... Who do they think they are ???? Please do not use the Bar Council to voice your opinions... If you are really interested in the democratic process... please join PKR, DAP. or PAS and overthrow the BN democratically via election...
Don't be a busy-body... you are better off doing your advocate $$ Solicitor works ... let the politicans handle this situation... they are more shrewd and cunning as far as politic is concerned... Better licks the boots of your Bosses...

We are suppose to heal the wound of 308.... until now all of you is still talking politic.. politic.. politic .... What a shame ...

Permatang By-election Watch

kopi kau kau Says:

We vote for Pakatan not because we like Anwar, or likewise we vote for DAP because we love DAP….. We do not have any other alternative…..

Therefore, Pakatan have to work hard to gain the raykat's heart and not to behave like BN when you are now in power.

The chance have been given to you….. perform well and cherish the faith that the raykat have given you… do not let us lose faith on you and come the next election, you would be sitting on the other side as Opposition again.

Showtime….. Anwar versus Najis…… I bet my last dollar for Anwar’s victory and hopefully with his ascending the PM throne… we can see some hope to the poor raykat…… Corrupt as you may but do not follow UMNO greediness and swallow the whole cake…..Take as you may but please also look after the common people like you and me…. We are not there to share the wealth of the Nation but at least have a heart …. to ensure that our basic daily necessity is taken care of …. eg petrol, rice, cooking oil, basic schooling etc…. WE are happy you are happy ……

We do not expect Anwar to be a SAINT ….. He is not send by the almighty GOD to save us….. He has his strength and weakness… At least for now we have a choice… and we hope for the best…If you want to enjoy your little game …. do it discreetly …. who cares ????? so long as your family can support you and allow such little game … that is enough for us…. We want you to govern the Country to your best ability and do not fail us……

How they handle ...... ?

kopi kau kau Says:
Yesterday at 23: 26.12

I was just wondering if Anwar can find a similiar 'saiful' and make a report to the police that he have been sodomised by Najis or Pak Lah… AND can also swear to the Koran to plead his truthfulness….. and also request DNA from them !!!Would the said 'saiful' be accorded the same protection by our Royal Police ?????
It is worth to try and see how our Govt. going to handle the above case… and how Najis or Pak Lah going to handle the same situation now face by Anwar…
Please call Anwar about this suggestion ….. we needs volunteer .. anybody dare to try ???? Sorry but this time no money offered… just a bit THANK YOU by Anwar and all law-abiding citizens of Malaysia.
All of us is now damn sick with the Government and now a laughing topic whenever we meet with our foreign customers….The new greeting among them to us is … How is your Behind? … and not How are you today!…….

A Letter To YB Lim Kit Siang

kopi kau kau Says:
August 1st, 2008 (2 weeks ago) at 21: 51.51

YB,
You should be aware that we are practising DEMOCRACY in Malaysia. We have enough idiots to vote the BN govt. in …. so why complain so much ???… What ever the Govt does is for our future generation benefit.. so why so much HO HA???….
So, if the Pakatan Govt-in-waiting is not happy, work hard and come the next election,,, try to convince the idiots to vote for you and when you are in Control… I bet my last dollars that Pakatan also sama sama…. ‘Pot calling the Kettle Black’
Saiful is just a pawn use by the BN Govt to frustrate Anwar and the way the Hospital is trying to cover the shit is rather amusing… ‘you don’t see it but it still smell’… As I have just mentioned… those comment/explaination are for their Idiot supporters to believe…..The best thing is that the Idiots really believe in all these shits!!!! Ha Ha Ha … ( I really pity them)

Is It True ???

Dear Dr,

If what 'Barry' say/rumours have some element of truth.... I fear for the worst....Do you think your fellow member would accept you with the new rumour that you have with the 'malay girl'So how many time you are going to say sorry to us.... resign... then start all over again !!!!Don't even think of joining Pakatan .... You would be a liability to whatever party you join... The best alternative is to enjoy your retirement and at the most be Advisor to whoever needs your advise.,,, That the best for the moment until you can find a remedy to counter the latest rumour...if it is really true... you yourself knows the truth.. So please do not let your supporters, friends, family suffer the shame again.Politic is so dirty...... that is why I never join any political party....

From Chua Soi Lek Blog:

Dear Dr Chua,

MCA is no longer a relevant party, having been a lap/running dog to UMNO. For years, MCA chose to hide like little pussies whenever the monkeys in UMNO made threats to kill Chinese etc. What did it do? NOTHING! The Chinese people are sick and tired of racial (racist) politics. We are tired of being 2nd class citizens, quietly submitting to the monkeys in UMNO. I personally think you should retire from politics. I have heard that your adversaries in MCA have video recordings of you and a Malay girl, so unless you want to further embarrass yourself and your family, you should become apolitical. Help those who need help, and if you must, the many poor Chinese who still look up to you.
